Book an Appointment

Please read the following before booking an online appointment

  • If you need to be seen urgently please call us on 03 3663391.
  • Telephone consultations have worked well in many situations and we will continue to offer these when appropriate, telephone consultations are for 15 minutes and charged as a standard consultation.
  • PLEASE ONLY BOOK STANDARD APPOINTMENTS - DO NOT BOOK urgent or longer appointments SUCH AS DRIVER'S LICENSE, SKIN CHECKS AND MINOR SURGERY online. These can be made by calling reception on 03 366 3391 between 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
  • We allow up to 15 minutes for a consultation which will usually allows time for us to properly deal with one key issue or two smaller issues. You will be asked to book again if you have more issues to discuss.
  • If you think you will require a longer consultation time ask our receptionist to book you a double appointment. This will incur an additional charge which may be more than double the consult fee as we don’t get MOH funding for a double consultation.
  • All emergencies will take priority and appointment times are therefore approximate; but we will make every effort to see you at the arranged time.

Please note if you do not attend a booked appointment a DNA charge of $40 will apply for a 15 minute appointment and $50 for a new patient appointment.

Dr Rachelle Pound passes on her sincere apologies to her enrolled patient group but she has to attend to a family emergency: this requires her immediate attention. Dr Damian Wilkinson RP will be working for Dr Pound on Wednesday and on other days any of the doctors in the team will be able to take care of your healthcare needs. As yet, Dr Rachelle does not have a confirmed return date, but she will be returning as soon as practicably possible. Dr Rachelle and The Christchurch Doctors are sorry the inconvenience that this will cause.
